The Ursuline Secondary School is a progressive all girls secondary school in the Ursuline tradition, under the Le Chéile Schools Trust.
The Board of Management of the Ursuline Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for the following position which may arise as a result of a Career Break for 2018/2019: Teacher of English and French.
Ability to teach subjects up to honours Leaving Certificate level is essential. Experience of coaching public speaking and debating and of working with students with a variety of learning needs is important. A willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities is desirable.
Applications, together with confirmation of Teaching Council Registration and Garda Vetting must be E-MAILED ONLY to ucbjobapplication@gmail.com on or before Friday 20th April 2018 under the subject heading ‘Teacher of English and French’.
Any appointment will be subject to registration with the Teaching Council, Garda vetting and completion of a statutory declaration and form of understanding in compliance with DES regulations. All applicants must include a copy of the letter from the Teaching Council stating the subjects for which they are registered.
Short-listing may apply. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted. A Panel may be created should further vacancies arise. All appointments are subject to the approval of The Director of Redeployment and to sanction by the DES. The Ursuline Secondary School is an equal opportunities employer.
