An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Éanna is a special school for pupils aged 4-12 with a diagnosis of Mild General Learning Disability. Many of the pupils would have additional complex needs including ASD, EBD and ADHD as well as medical and care needs.
The applicant should be a qualified primary school teacher. Experience in teaching in a special school or special class is desirable.
Applicants should ensure that they are fully compliant with Garda vetting procedures through the Teaching Council and have achieved the Catholic Certificate to teach religion as we are a Catholic School under the Patronage of the Diocese of Cork and Ross.
