An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The school is adding to its panel of substitute special needs assistants to cover for absent staff until July 12th 2024.
Stewarts School caters for students with moderate, severe and profound general learning disabilities and complex SEN between the ages of four and eighteen years. In addition, many students are autistic. Candidates are required to have the Junior Certificate or equivalent as a minimum requirement. Leaving Certificate and an additional qualification in SNA/special education, including autism or a related area is advantageous.
