An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Bohermore National School is a co-educational primary school with a Catholic ethos and is under the patronage of the Archbishop of Cashel & Emly. Applications are invited from highly dedicated candidates for a number of positions of Part-time and Full-time Special Needs Assistants.
2 x 0.5 SNA post (job-share)
1 x full-time post (maternity leave)
We are looking for candidates can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We are looking for people who are energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative. Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school. Experience and or training in working with children with A.S.D, O.T., emotional and behavioural difficulties, diabetes and medical care needs is desirable. Experience of the TEACCH and ABC approaches to intervention would be advantageous.
