An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management invites applications from highly dedicated and qualified candidates for the position of SNA to join our dynamic team.
There are currently two vacancies in our school to work in our Autism Class.
The Role of the SNA is as set out in DES Circular 30/2014.
- A Level 5 or Level 6 Qualification in Special Needs Assistance is essential.
-Autism specific training is advantageous.
-Training and experience in areas such as LÁMH, PECS, ABA, MAPA is preferable.
Candidates must be willing to uphold the Ethos of the school. The successful candidate must display a strong work ethic, flexibility, and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team. They must show a willingness to be involved in school activities. They must always respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and avail of further training as required.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements, confirmation of qualifications and occupational health screening.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary panel, with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed PF1 form at the time of application.
