An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applicants asked to please read the following information carefully. Thank you. Scoil Fhursa 'The Happiest School in Ireland' is located in Kilmore West near Beaumont Hospital. We are setting up a new special class in September 2022 for children with ASD and complex needs. The successful applicant for this advertisement will be a fully qualified and registered mainstream primary teacher who will lead the setting up of the new class for two years and then have the option to teach in mainstream in any of our 10 vertical classes or in our SET team of 6 support teachers - or to remain in the new special class. Experience of SEN teaching and/or a qualification in SEN is desirable but not essential. We also have a maternity leave position (Sept-June) and a parental leave position (Sept-November). Both are in our SET team working with infants and junior class pupils.
