An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Candidates are required to have mainstream SNA experience. Experience working with children on the ASD spectrum is desirable.
If relevant , a valid certified copy of the Panel Form 1 (PF1) must be included with the application.
The initial duties of the post may change according to the care needs of the pupils. Candidates must be able to work as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Canvassing will disqualify.
