An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Francis is a Special School for pupils with Moderate or Severe to Profound Intellectual Disabilities.
Our pupils are between 4 and 19 years old.
The successful applicant will have relevant experience teaching in a similar setting. Excellent interpersonal, communication and team skills are essential. Experience with implementing positive behaviour management and knowledge of PECS, Lámh, assistive communication technologies, TEACCH and the L1LP and L2LP Junior Cycle curricula would be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend Croke park hours commencing 31st Aug 2021.
