An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

It is desireable that candidates should have significant experience in mainstream teaching (minimum 3 - 5 years) and posess a good knowledge and understanding of teaching children with SEN.
The position is in mainstream initially, candidates must be willing to teach in all other areas of the school. Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team essential.
