Ardscoil La Salle is a mainstream school with two special classes for children with an ASD diagnosis. This vacancy is for a part-time post for the remainder of the academic year. The escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons, five days per week for the school year. The bus escort must be available in the mornings from 7.30am - 9:00am and afternoons from 3:30pm – 4.30pm. These are approximate times only and do not constitute the actual working hours.

The escort is responsible for the safety of the child(ren) on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including, but not limited to, assisting the child getting on and off the bus/taxi, securing appropriate seat belts, etc.

Experience working with children with autism and complex needs is desirable.

All appointments are subject to Garda Vetting requirements and DES approval
