An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applicants are invited to apply for this part-time 0.5 post (16 hours per week over 5 days) in a mainstream setting, subject to periodic audit by N.C.S.E. and S.E.N.O.
Applicants who are members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as set out by the DES, though having Fetac Level 5/6 in SEN or other relevant qualifications in areas such as First Aid certification, ICT is desirable. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. Experience and relevant qualifications in working with children with ASD, ADHD and Cerebral Palsy would be beneficial.
Flexibility will be required in relation to starting time to ensure the needs of children can be met going forward. The successful candidate will be required to work hours as set out by the National Agreements.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting and OHS.
