Applications are invited for the post of Principal teacher in Scoil Ide. This vibrant and inclusive school has a Catholic ethos and is under the patronage of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin. The successful candidate must have a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education and a commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos.
The following skills, knowledge and experience are desirable: Proven ability to work as a member of a team. Evidence of continuing professional development in a leadership role, and the ability to promote a culture of learning and creativity in the school: Excellent communication skills expressed both in leadership and teamwork: Strong organisational capabilities to manage a large busy school. Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload. Knowledge of Special Education Needs and EAL, and a commitment to inclusion and to respect of diversity.
Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.
