An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a full-time position. An SNA role in our school may involve working in our new special class for children with ASD or working across our school with several children who need a range of different kinds of support. We are therefore looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. Our staff team is friendly and welcoming, supporting one another, sharing good practice and working together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our children. We are looking for someone who is energetic and enthusiastic and can contribute to our team, working on their own initiative and willing to go the extra mile. Experience of working with children with ASD and those with challenging behaviour would be an advantage. Applicants must have the qualifications set out in the Department of Education and Skills Circular 44/2014 and be ready to complete Garda Vetting. Please include PF1 form if applicable.
