An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There are 5 temporary posts in all for the full academic year 2020-2021. 2 Career Breaks, 1 Jobshare, 1 Parental Leave and a temporary EAL position for the year.
These are a combination of being both in mainstream and in support education. All of these positions are full time in St. Matthew's NS and not shared with any cluster of schools.
There is also a further position to share a parental leave position up until Christmas 2020 on a week-on/week-off arrangement also based only in St. Matthew's.
