An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applications should have qualifications as per Department of Education & Skills.
Applicants should have experience of working with pupils with Autism.
Applicants should have experience of working with pupils with physical, sensory, learning and complex difficulties.
Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.

Appointment is subject to current vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the on line TUSLA Child Safeguarding training.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the supplementary panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application.
Any canvassing will disqualify without exception.
The position is subject to the NCSE allocation and SENO review.
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to satisfactory references.
