An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Chormaic is a special school which caters for children with Mild General Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (aged 3 to 18 years).
The teaching position is for the post primary section of the school. A major focus of this section of the school is Junior Cycle and QQI. Therefore candidates that have experience working with Junior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2 and /or QQI level 1, 2 and 3 will be considered highly desirable.
Candidates that have experience working in a school setting that caters for senior students with Mild General Learning Disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder would also be considered highly desirable.
