An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Initially this position will be for a probationary period, following which the intention is that it will become a permanent Caretaker position for the successful candidate. Duties to include (but not limited to): opening and closing the school, maintaining school premises and grounds, key holding and alarm activation / responsibility including outside school hours, painting and minor duties, general caretaking duties as agreed with management.
