This post concentrates on Transition year and junior cycle Art. The school has a rich tradition in art and has engaged successfully in TY projects such as Junk Kouture, Artifice, Hares on the March and other artistic projects. It is a one year post but it may grow and develop over the years to come. Newtown School is a coeducational boarding and day school. An ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and to participate in boarding school duty is desirable. There is also the option of accommodation (including meals) and a small stipend being provided should a suitable applicant be willing to become part of the residential staff in the boarding school.
