An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a vacancy for 0.5 of an SNA post (16 hours, worked over 5 school days), and is subject to annual review by the SENO and NCSE.
Experience in working with SEN pupils in a school setting is desirable. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The appointment is subject to current vetting requirements, OHS and completion of online Child Safeguarding Training.
