Bus Escort
Description:
Hansfield ETSS is a co-educational school, under the patronage of Educate Together, located in Dublin 15. Applications are invited for the position of Bus Escort to accompany students attending Cosán – the special class (ASD) on their journey by bus/taxi to and from school.
The hours of work will be as follows for the duration of the school calendar:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 6.40am – 8.45am and 3.30pm – 5.00pm
Wednesday: 6.40am – 8.45am and 1.20pm – 3.50pm
The hourly rate of pay will be €13.88 (inclusive of holiday pay). Bus Escorts are not paid during school holidays. The escort must have their own transport to and from the drop-off point (Hansfield ETSS).
The Bus Escort must have a caring disposition. Experience in working with children with intellectual disabilities and ASD is desirable. The person appointed will ideally hold an appropriate qualification (FETAC award or equivalent). They will be expected to commit to promoting and upholding the Educate Together ethos (see www.educatetogether.i.e. and www.hansfieldsecondary.ie).
