ABACAS Kilbarrack Special School is an evidence based school for children with a diagnosis of Autism and complex needs. Students range in age from 3-18 years. We value individualised, evidence based education, early intervention and assessment. This position is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to lead a dedicated team of highly qualified and motivated teachers and SNA's.

The ideal candidate should:
-Have a minimum of 5 years experience in leading an evidence based, multi-disciplinary teaching organisation
-Understand and value the importance of individualized, evidence based education
-Possess excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
-Have management experience and team leadership skills
-Show evidence of coninuing and relevant professional development
-Have experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and school based initiatives.
