Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The positions are 0.83 (infant day posts.)
This school is a mainstream school with Autism classes,therefore the duties will include working with children in mainstream and ASD settings.
1.The successful candidates must demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team and participate in school activities.
2.A knowledge of and experience of implementing positive behaviour strategies is essential..
3.Practical experience in supporting children with a variety of special needs, including ASD and EBD as well as social and communication difficulties, is required.
4. Experience in caring for intimate specialized care needs and toileting are highly desirable.
Appointments will be subject to Vetting Requirements as detailed in Circular 0031/2016 and Occupational Health Screening.
