An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Setanta is a school for students with ASD aged 12 to 18. Experience in a special education setting and experience with challenging behaviour an advantage. The ability to work as part of a team a necessity. Class ratio is a maximum of 6 to 1.
Setanta School implements both the primary and secondary curriculum, with an emphasis on L1LP and L2LP at secondary level.
The HSE is patron of the school.
