Full Time IT Instructor
Description:
The role of the Instructor is to deliver Information Technology quality assured training modules.
To prepare learners for progression to further education / training or employment
To support Learners, achieve a QQI Major Award at levels 3 and 4
Applicants should possess:
• A recognised diploma qualification in Information Technology
• The knowledge and experience to deliver QQI Level 3 and 4 modules in Information
Technology
• Excellent administration, communication and interpersonal skills
• Be self-motivated and have an ability to work using their initiative
• A learner-centered approach to their work
• The ability to provide guidance and leadership to learners
• An ability to work as part of a team
• An awareness of QQI and the National Framework of Qualifications
• A teaching or training qualification
• Some experience working with early school leavers
