Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a permanent mainstream teaching post.

The Board of Management welcomes applications from enthusiastic, reflective and committed teachers who demonstrate high standards of professional practice, effective classroom management, excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
Initial teaching duties are anticipated to be in a mainstream classroom. However, in accordance with the educational needs of the school, Department of Education regulations and the annual deployment of teaching staff by the Principal and Board of Management, the successful applicant may be assigned to teaching duties in a mainstream classroom, a Special Education Teaching (SET) role or a special class.
Experience and/or professional learning in inclusive education and Special Educational Needs is desirable and strongly encouraged.
Applications are particularly welcomed from teachers who have experience and/or professional learning in inclusive education, Special Educational Needs, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), team teaching, collaborative practice and the effective use of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning. A commitment to fostering inclusive practices, supporting the diverse needs of all learners and contributing positively to an inclusive school culture will be highly valued.

Current and continuing Teaching Council Registration (Route 1 – Primary).
Current Garda Vetting requirements.
Occupational Health Screening.
Satisfactory references.
Compliance with the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools and all relevant Department of Education Circulars.
The successful applicant will be expected to uphold and support the characteristic spirit and ethos of the school and to work collaboratively with pupils, parents, colleagues, the Board of Management and the wider school community.
