SN Naomh Brighde Buachaillí is a senior all boys school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Meath, Dr. Tom Deenihan. The school seeks to appoint an Administrative Principal beginning on the 1st of September 2026.
The present teaching staff comprises 1 Administrative Principal, 6 Class Teachers (2nd to 6th) and 4 SETs. The school has 1 special class for children with MGLD (Amity).
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the strong inter-personal skills that are required to lead and maintain a happy, active, and progressive school community.
A commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school is essential.
Likewise fostering links with the wider community is desirable.

Candidates should have current and continuing Teaching Council registration and show evidence of and commitment to ongoing Professional Development. They must have an in-depth knowledge and experience of SEN, EAL and managing special classes.
Candidates should be able to display evidence of an understanding of DEIS and its implementation, the ability to foster the involvement of parents within the school community, as well as a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
