Dromtrasna NS is a mixed rural school, with an ASD class, under the patronage of the Limerick Diocese. Experience of teaching in a similar school setting is desirable. This is a mainstream teaching post initially but may be subject to change.
Essential Minimum requirements:
~Applications by post only

~Standard Application Form Only must be filled out. A CV will not be accepted
~Applications received via email or any other method will not be accepted.
~Applications must be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 professional referees.

Candidates will be invited to interview via email.

The following requirements are desirable :
~ Being willing and able to work as part of a team, being able to adapt to various needs within a class
~ Experience in team teaching in Literacy and Numeracy
~ Experience of working with children with varying needs in a school setting
~ Willingness to engage in ongoing CPD

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate how they will contribute to the Catholic Ethos of the school. A recognised Certificate to teach Religion is required. (An NQT may confirm that the certificate requirements have been met and the certificate is pending)

Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration and Occupational Health Screening.
