Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Dromtrasna NS is a mixed rural school, with an ASD class, under the patronage of the Limerick Diocese. Experience of teaching in a similar school setting is desirable. This is a mainstream teaching post initially but may be subject to change.
Essential Minimum requirements:

The following requirements are desirable :
~ Being willing and able to work as part of a team, being able to adapt to various needs within a class
~ Experience in team teaching in Literacy and Numeracy
~ Experience of working with children with varying needs in a school setting
~ Willingness to engage in ongoing CPD
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate how they will contribute to the Catholic Ethos of the school. A recognised Certificate to teach Religion is required. (An NQT may confirm that the certificate requirements have been met and the certificate is pending)
Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration and Occupational Health Screening.
