An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St Brigid's NS is a coeducational school with 19 mainstream classes and 2 special classes. The successful candidate may be assigned to either a mainstream class or a Special Education Teaching (SET) position. The final allocation of duties will be determined in accordance with the school's needs and priorities. Initial duties may be subject to change in line with the evolving needs of the school.
Essential Minimum Requirements
Appointments will be subject to Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. Applicants must hold a Certificate to teach Religious Education. Applications must include the contact details (including mobile telephone numbers) of a minimum of two professional referees. A Standard Application Form for Teaching Posts must be completed. CVs will not be accepted.
