Rosemont School, Sandyford

Rosemont School invites applications for the position of Teacher of Religious Education beginning 2 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. This is a privately paid position, offering 22 teaching hours per week at the appropriate Department of Education rate.

Rosemont School is a Catholic post-primary school in the Opus Dei tradition, providing a values-driven education that promotes academic excellence, personal development and service. Faith formation is central to the life and mission of the school.
Role
The successful candidate will:
• Teach Religious Education in accordance with the Catholic ethos of the school
• Contribute to the faith life of the school, including liturgical and pastoral activities
• Support students’ holistic formation in line with Catholic teaching

A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school is desirable.

Essential Criteria
• Recognised Teaching Council registration (or eligibility to register).
• A practising Catholic who supports the doctrinal and moral teaching of the Catholic Church, and is capable of teaching and promoting the Catholic faith in a manner consistent with the ethos and mission of Rosemont School.
