Additional Information:
Belmayne Community Special school, under the patronage of DDLETB, caters for students aged between 4-18 years with a dual diagnosis of Autism and Moderate or Severe learning difficulties and complex needs, invites applications for Route 2 post-primary teacher for either P.E.

Experience working with students with additional needs and an understanding of ASD is desirable. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and/ or experience of using PECS, Lámh, VB-MAPP & ABLLS assessment and Positive Behaviour management strategies is an advantage.

Appointments are subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration, vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
