Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position available is for a fixed-term Special Education Teacher.
The following knowledge and experience is desirable:
-Experience of writing school support plans
-Experience of creating and monitoring SMART targets
-Experience of working with children who have English as an Additional Language
-Experience of working collaboratively
-Experience of in-class support such as Station Teaching etc.
-Experience of working with children with ADHD, ASD and Mild General Learning Difficulties
-Familiarity with Restorative Practices
Claremorris N.S is a Catholic School under the patronage of the Archbishop of Tuam. Commitment to the Catholic ethos is necessary.
Appointment will be subject, but not limited to: satisfactory references, current and continuing Teaching Council registration, current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
Closing date for the receipt of applications is 3pm on Friday 2nd October.
