An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:

The DEY has sanctioned the setting up of a panel, mainly in the Howth, Portmarnock, Malahide, Swords, and Balbriggan area.

The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of 9 schools for teachers who are absent on short-term substitutable leave.
Scoil Mhuire, Howth Primary School will be the base school.

Appointments are subject to current Teaching Council Registration, Garda Vetting requirements, and Occupational Health Screening.

It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position upon offer of employment.
