An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Interested parties should note that this is a part-time post [0.5 of full time hours and full time salary)
The NCSE has allocated 0.5 of one full time SNA post to the school. This equates to 16 hours per week.
The successful candidate will support children in the school during every school day.
The successful candidate will attend to duties during 36 Croke Park hours per year. The successful candidate will attend staff meetings and all whole-staff training.
Star of the Sea BNS includes two autism-specific classes and 9 mainstream classes. Our SNA team provides support to pupils to facilitate access to education in all settings.
Star of the Sea is a Catholic school for boys under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin.
