Expression of Interest – Permanent Special Education Teaching Vacancy
The Board of Management of St Ita’s Special School wishes to invite expressions of interest in permanent vacancies based in St Ita’s Special School.
These positions are Special Education Teaching roles supporting pupils with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, including pupils with co-occurring needs such as Autism, Down Syndrome and physical disabilities.
The positions are available across the school and may include teaching responsibilities at a range of levels, including Senior Cycle and the L1LP/L2LP programmes.
The successful applicants will be expected to contribute positively to the educational, social and personal development of pupils and to work collaboratively with colleagues, SNAs, parents/guardians and other relevant professionals as part of a multidisciplinary approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified teachers who are listed on the relevant Supplementary Panel for the Diocese.
An expression of interest should be forwarded to St Ita’s Special School no later than Friday, 28 August 2026, being five working days from the date of advertisement.
