Cork ETB invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Special Class Teacher for Transition Support Service Role for Cork ETB Community Special Schools under a Fixed Term Contract of Employment to commence in the new 2026/2027 academic year.
Cork ETB has 4 Community Special Schools:
• Carrigaline Community Special School
• Rochestown Community Special School
• East Cork Community Special School (location-Carrigtwohill)
• North Cork Community Special School (locations-Fermoy & Carrignavar).
Cork ETB Community Special Schools provide an appropriate education for students, aged 4 to 18 years old, who have a diagnosis of Autism and moderate learning disability, who require the support of a special school setting, up from the beginning of Primary school to eighteen years of age.
The purpose of this role will be to support young people with disabilities as they prepare to move from school into further education, training, employment and other post-school opportunities and pathways. This role will be spread across all 4 Community Special Schools.
