An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Bus Escort will be required to accompany and support pupils with ASD on the school bus.
The Bus Escort should be available between 7.45am and 9 am and between 2:45pm- and 16:00pm.
The Bus Escort will make sure that all aspects of safety are carried out effectively.
Good communication skills are essential and experience of caring for/working with children with additional needs is desirable. Please include details of any Continuous Professional Development such as First Aid/Manual Handling etc.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting requirements, occupational health check and verification of references. Please include names and contact details of two referees; one work reference and one character reference.
