An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Bhríde has been designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a base school for the Primary Substitute Supply Panel. The purpose of the Substitute Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover, in a designated cluster of 9 schools in Leixlip, Celbridge and Maynooth, for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave.
Supply panel teachers
- will be appointed by Scoil Bhríde (the base school) under a
fixed-term contract for one year
- will be required to provide substitute cover in all schools in the
designated cluster
and
- may be deployed into a variety of settings including various
class standards and special education settings including ASD Classes.
Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015
