Additional Information:
St Iberius National School is looking for two bus escort post for children with Autism.
The bus picks up the escort from school or an agreed location and makes the journey to collect the children.
Route 1 - Enniscorthy.
Route 2 - Kilmore and Wexford Town.
Applicants would need to be available in the morning before school for between 1.25-1.5 hours and after school for the same. School starts at 9.10am and finishes at 2.50pm.
The current hourly rate, set by the Department of Education, is €15.98 per hour. (+ 8% Holiday Pay)
Duties will include escorting children to and from St Iberius National School, assisting children to board and alight safely from the school transport, ensuring that all children are seated with appropriate straps and harnesses where provided and ensuring that each pupil is received by some responsible person at the set down point.
Previous experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage but is not essential.
All Bus Escort will have to be Garda vetted by the school.
