St Clare’s Pre School is currently seeking applications from interested candidates to join our established team in delivering excellence in care and education at our pre-school.
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and professional Early Years Educator to join our team. We are seeking an ECCE Room Leader, 20 hours per week, delivering engaging age-appropriate learning activities for children aged 2.5 - 5years.
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care Level 6 or above qualification is required.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment that supports each child’s development, independence, curiosity and love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the preschool room on a daily basis
• Plan, implement and evaluate an emergent, play-based curriculum
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Supervise and support room staff
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Create a warm, safe, stimulating, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Complete observations, assessments, and required documentation
• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised classroom
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support daily programme operations

Qualifications & Requirements:
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care Level 6 or above qualification is required
Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and curriculum frameworks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Caring, patient, and professional approach
A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working as part of a supportive team
All required background checks as per regulations
