Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This role will involve working with children with a range of additional needs, and therefore we require someone with strong experience working in a school environment across all age groups. Knowledge in the use of Assistive Technology would be an advantage, as well as experience supporting students and teachers in the provision of Occupational Therapy Programmes.
Candidates must be able to work well within a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training, including upskilling in the use of technology.
Applicants must satisfy all Department of Education appointment criteria.
Final appointment is subject to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, satisfactory pre-employment medical screening via the OHS and Patron's approval.
