Eolas Breise:
St. Ita’s Special National School, Drogheda, is a school for pupils with mild to high moderate general learning disabilities and multiple disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, hearing and visual impairments. The school caters for pupils from 5 to 18 years of age and currently has 28 teachers and 30 Special Needs Assistants.
There are two fixed-term teaching positions available for the 2026/2027 school year.
At St. Ita’s, we believe that co-operation, courtesy, respect and teamwork are essential to creating an effective school environment and supporting the personal, social and educational development of all our pupils.
We are seeking teachers who demonstrate a genuine interest in the educational, social and personal development of each pupil. The successful candidates will have the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to work effectively with pupils who have complex and diverse profiles.
