Presentation Secondary School, Ballingarry invites applications for two full-time Fixed Purpose Special Needs Assistant (SNA) positions (32 hours per week). These positions arise from the school's current Special Needs Assistant allocation and will involve supporting students across both mainstream classes and the school's special class.

Applicants should submit the following by email only:

A letter of application
A certified copy of Panel Form 1 (PF1) where applicable,
An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae including references.

Applications should be emailed to principal@presbg.com no later than 12.00 noon on Thursday, 14 August 2026.

Previous experience working as a Special Needs Assistant in a post-primary school setting with students who have a range of additional care needs is desirable. Experience of working collaboratively as part of an SNA team is also desirable.

Applicants must hold current Garda Vetting or be eligible to obtain Garda Vetting prior to appointment.

These appointments are Fixed Purpose positions and are subject to the continued sanction and allocation of Special Needs Assistant hours by the Department of Education and the National Council for Special Education (NCSE).
