An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Sacred Heart is a special school for pupils with designated abilities termed moderate and severe and profound general learning disabilities and those with autism and complex medical needs. Our pupils are aged between five and eighteen years.
We are seeking experienced SNAs to support the care needs of our pupils.
Applicants should be kind, caring, be able to demonstrate patience and flexibility and have experience working as part of an educational team in a special school setting.

You will be joining a proactive, hands-on and supportive team working within a supportive school environment.

Additional training/qualifications/ experience in Lámh, AAC devices, behaviours of concern is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to respect student confidentiality at all times and to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.

Appointment will be subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and satisfactory references.
