We are looking for a kind, reliable, supportive person to join our Primary School team!
This role involves ensuring safe transport of children to and from school each day.
Bus Route: Clonmel Town to Ballymacarbry NS
Arrangements can be made with bus driver to collect you from the school or on Driver's bus route before first child pick-up.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children with Special Needs preferable, but not essential. Must be kind, caring, patient and work well with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise children on their journey to and from school. Ensure children's safety while on the bus and ensure a safe handover with school staff/ parents.
Hours of work (depending on pick up point for Bus Escort): Morning: Approx. 8:15 am. - 9:15 am.
Afternoons: Approx. 2:15 pm. - 3:15 pm.
School Term Time only
Salary: €15.98 per hour (Paid fortnightly)
Holiday hours paid at rate of 8% of hours worked.
Holiday pay payable at Christmas, Easter and at beginning of Summer holidays.
Bank Holidays during school term will be paid.
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting requirements, occupational health check and verification of references.
Please include at least one current work reference and one character reference and their contact details with your CV.

Additional Information
We are also establishing a panel of substitute escorts to cover ad hoc absences.
