An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Role Description
-To accompany pupils on transport to and from their home to Raphoe Central NS each day.
- Work mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday, term time only (total 1 hour 40 mins each day).
- Ensure pupil safety and wellbeing while on board including:
- Assisting children getting on and off bus/ taxi and ensuring safe handover to SNA/teacher/parent/guardian
- Securing seat belts and any other safety equipment
- Supporting care needs as required
Requirements
-Relevant experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Suitable references are essential.
Additional Information
-We are also establishing a panel of substitute escorts to cover ad hoc absences.
Any appointment will be subject to Garda vetting by the school.
Bus Escort rate €15.98/hour.
