An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This role involves ensuring the safe transport of children to and from school each day.
Bus Route: Clontibret – Castleblayney and surrounding area
Bus Escort is collected from the school and left back to the school
Experience Required: Experience of working with children with additional needs preferable but not essential. Must have the qualities of kindness, caring patient and the ability to work with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/ supervise the children on their journey to and from school. Ensure children’s safety whilst on the bus and ensure a safe handover with school staff and parents.
Hours of Work
Morning : 8:15a.m. – 9:15a.m. approximately – subject to change
Afternoon: 2.45p.m. – 3.45p.m. approximately - subject to change
Salary:€15.98 per hour (paid weekly)
Holiday hours paid at 8% of hours worked
Holiday pay payable at Christmas and at beginning of Summer
Bank Holidays during school term will be paid
Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting Requirements, occupational health check and verification of references.
In-person interviews will take place on the week commencing 10th August 2026.
