An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This SNA position is part-time 0.5 of a standard SNA post. i.e.16 hours per week ( 5 days, Monday - Friday 10am-1pm and subject to NCSE Allocation)
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic, must work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and must show a commitment to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice, and supporting the diverse needs of pupils.

The following skills and experience are desirable :
-Experience supporting pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour.
-A strong understanding of how to support Positive Behaviour
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
-A commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
-The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
-Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy school environment.
