An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of SN Seamus Naofa invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of Part time Special Needs Assistant (0.83 Infant day).
Experience of working with children in a special class or special school for children with autism is desirable for this role. The successful candidate may work in either mainstream or special class settings.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DES guidelines and relevant work experience.
A valid Statutory Declaration is required as well as completion of the Form of Undertaking upon offer of employment.
