Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for a Fixed-Term Mainstream Class Teacher position for the 2026/2027 school year.
Desirable skills and experience include:
Experience of teaching in a multi-grade classroom in the junior end of a primary school.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team of teaching and non-teaching colleagues.
Willingness to use their talents for the benefit of the children in the school.
Experience in supporting pupils with additional needs.
Strong interpersonal skills, be good communicators, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, and show a willingness to engage in further training.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health screening, completion of online Tusla Child Safeguarding Training and satisfactory references.
